Constance presents Avant Garden, a new semi-annual Art Yard Sale featuring a well-curated variety of artists, designers, and taste-makers.

The next Avant Garden takes place on Saturday, April 16 from 11am to 5pm at 2216 Esplanade.
Avant Garden is a new semi-annual curated arts market hosted by Constance, a local arts organizations and lifestyle publishing group. Featuring artists, designers, and taste-makers from the New Orleans community, Avant Garden’s goal is to provide an alternative to the usual local Arts Markets by a process of individually inviting vendors that represent emerging talent in the city, enriching our cultural economy as a whole.
A few vendors for the spring season of Avant Garden include garment designs by Dept. of Changes, Jac Currie, Dirty Coast, Akasha Rabut / Sam Feather-Garner, Erin Buckley; jewelry and accessory design by Brandi Couvillion, Re-Styling / Shana Griffin, Marin Dearie, RENU Jewelry, and Ezra Greenbride; as well as periodicals and printed media by Constance X Gnome Bookstore, Birdie Birdie, Garret County Press, Scott Campbell, Justin Shiels / InvadeNOLA, and Jeff Pastorek. A variety of food vendors will also be participating, providing visitors with a selection of treats ranging from Brazilian BBQ to vegan baked goods as well as beverages alcoholic and non.
