Paige Valente’s work and words can be found throughout our beloved city of New Orleans and beyond.
Serving as Arts Program Director and Peace Clubs artist for Silence Is Violence, she extends her voice from page and canvas to the city’s youth in the classroom and in the streets.
Inspired by concentrated flashes of intimate interaction, Valente is most recognized for her collection of medium to large format, text driven, bold, witty phrases constructed primarily of Gaffer’s tape, acrylic mediums, and other mixed media.
