Marketplace at Armstrong park
Thursdays (02:00 PM - 06:00 PM). Until May 30
The Marketplace at Armstrong Park (MAP) is the primary program of the Institute for Community Development (ICD) and currently provides the only weekly open-air farmers market serving the 6th Ward (Treme), 7th Ward and French Quarter neighborhoods of New Orleans. Though only in its second season, MAP has already produced a consistent weekly market for eight consecutive weeks during the Fall of 2012 on the grounds of the grand entrance of the historical Louis Armstrong Park, re-opened for the first time since Hurricane Katrina in 2012 and located in the heart of Treme on N. Rampart Street, just north of the French Quarter. Please visit our website at http://www.icdnola.org for a list of vendors participating in the weekly market.
